Since its establishment, Toros University has been taking firm steps towards solving the problems of the society and the region. In this context, it continues its education, training, research and application activities in areas that will contribute to the development of our region and our country. Our primary goal is to carry out research at an international level, to train the region's qualified manpower and to contribute to the development of the region.
In addition to research and education, Toros University shows great sensitivity to the personal development of students and to transfer these developments to the society. There are more than 35 student societies within our university, and these societies not only provide personal development of current students, but also carry out joint projects with many non-governmental organizations. Therefore, social sensitivity contributes to the development of society. They are involved in all kinds of activities that can provide. After graduating from university, we aim to raise individuals who are sensitive to the environment, society and country's problems, who can improve themselves, and who can come up with solutions by understanding the problems.
Our university attaches great importance to practical education as well as theoretical education. In parallel with the increase in the number of universities in Turkey, the number of students is also increasing. In this context, in order to meet the expectations from us in line with the goals of the country, it makes it necessary to provide education and training with the understanding of the 3rd Generation University, which prepares our students for the future by providing theory and practice together by cooperating with the sector. Within the framework of Toros University, 3rd generation University, "Advisory Boards" have been formed in all departments and programs, and there are academicians, students, alumni and sector representatives in the advisory boards. Advisory boards reorganize the strong relations with the sectors in the creation of the course curricula of each department/program. Thanks to this application, our graduates have great advantages in finding a job in the sectors related to their fields. The most concrete example of this practice is that within the scope of the "Intern Engineering" and "Education at Work" projects that we have been implementing for 6 years, our students can easily find a job in their field with the experience they have gained at the workplace after graduation, and many examples of this can be found in the "Alumni" section of the relevant department/programs on our university website. information is available.
To Toros University students; There are many opportunities such as a good academic and social environment with a high level of education and training, supporting sports and scientific activities, providing access to information resources with its advanced library, and one-on-one education due to the high number of faculty members per student.
With its strong academic staff, our School of Foreign Languages is affiliated with our Engineering and FEAS Faculties in order to provide our students with communication skills that enable them to compete with the world. In addition to the 1-year "English Preparatory" education, the language of instruction is "English". In addition, our students have educational and professional experience opportunities in EU countries thanks to the "Erasmus Exchange" program at the undergraduate level and the "Internship Mobility" programs at the associate degree and undergraduate level.
Toros University students can graduate from two departments at the same time or receive a certificate by completing a Double Major or Minor program in another department or program in addition to the department they have earned. On the other hand, in addition to the education curriculum, students are provided with academic support such as "Entrepreneurship Education", "Undergraduate Research Support" and "Incubation Project Support".
We are proud to aim to contribute to the social, cultural, economic and scientific development of our country and the people of the world with our experience we have gained for 57 years and our facilities at international standards. In line with this purpose, we are working hard to train our students, each of whom is the development hero of the future, in a free and critical environment equipped with knowledge and technology, with confidence and peace, so that knowledge can be produced and shared with the human resources of our country.
Centering our student-oriented approach with the slogan "Beyond Education, Into Life", Toros University knows the importance of physical and personal development as well as the professional basic knowledge, skills and values that our students will use in the continuation of their careers, with an environment of free thinking and a supportive approach to research.
