Quality And Management

The Software Engineering Department conducts its educational, research, and administrative processes within a quality assurance–oriented, integrated, and sustainable management framework. Quality activities in our department are based on the regular monitoring, measurement, and multi-dimensional evaluation of program educational objectives and program outcomes. In this process, not only students’ academic achievements but also their technical competencies, software development skills, and alignment with industry expectations are taken into consideration.

In line with the data obtained, a continuous improvement approach is adopted; necessary updates and enhancement decisions are identified and implemented in a planned and systematic manner. Course content, teaching methods, and assessment and evaluation processes are regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with rapidly evolving software technologies and industry demands.

Quality and management processes are carried out through the collaboration of department administration, quality and self-evaluation committees, and external stakeholders. Feedback from students, alumni, and industry representatives is systematically collected and incorporated into decision-making processes. In this way, the management mechanism is shaped not only by internal evaluations but also by real-world industry dynamics.

Within this framework, our department adopts a transparent, participatory, and accountable management approach focused on continuous development, thereby ensuring the education of up-to-date, highly qualified, and competent software engineers.
