Organizational Structure And Decision-making Process

Decision-Making Processes and External Stakeholder Participation

In the Computer Programming Program, the planning and updating of educational activities, as well as the implementation of quality assurance processes, are based on the principles of participatory management and continuous improvement. In decision-making processes, program management and relevant academic units play a central role, while external stakeholder feedback is also utilized to ensure the program remains up-to-date and aligned with industry needs.

In this context, external stakeholders contributing to the development of the program include representatives from institutions and organizations operating in fields such as information technologies, software, technical support, database management, and web technologies, as well as alumni and experienced professionals.

External Stakeholder Participation, Documentation, and Impact on the Program:
Feedback and evaluations obtained from external stakeholders are considered through meetings, consultations, and evaluation processes aimed at improving the educational activities of the program. The collected feedback is assessed in line with program needs, and when necessary, improvements are made to course content, practical applications, and the overall program structure.

In these processes, particular attention is given to:

  • Current technological developments in the field of information technologies and programming,
  • Technical and practical competencies required by the industry,
  • Needs identified during students’ internship and practical training processes,
  • Experiences and feedback of graduates in professional life.

Based on the feedback received, the program content is regularly reviewed; improvements are made to update course content in areas such as software development, web technologies, and database applications, to strengthen the practical components of the curriculum, and to enhance students’ professional competencies.

Through this systematic approach, the program supports its goal of educating graduates who can adapt to changing industry needs, possess strong practical skills, are open to innovation, and have a strong sense of professional responsibility.
