Within the scope of the Toros University Culinary Arts Program, a comprehensive internship program is implemented to ensure that our students transform their theoretical background into practice in professional kitchen environments. As an integral part of our curriculum, students undertake a full-time professional internship for 16 weeks (40 hours per week) at qualified enterprises approved by the program.
The primary objective of this practice is to enable future chef candidates to understand the gastronomy sector with all its dynamics before graduation, to experience the professional kitchen hierarchy firsthand, and to maximize their employability. During the internship, our students have the opportunity to participate directly in operational processes such as kitchen management, food preparation, service techniques, and hygiene standards in hotel kitchens, restaurants, or other professional food and beverage establishments, thereby enhancing their professional competencies.
All internship processes are carried out under the coordination of program supervisors within the framework of the university's relevant regulations and internship guidelines. Detailed information regarding internship application steps, required documents, and implementation principles can be accessed through the internship manual.
