Practical Training is a compulsory component of the educational process that aims to enable students to reinforce the theoretical knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies through practical application and to gain professional experience.
Within the scope of the Construction Technology Program, practical training is carried out in a fully industry-oriented manner during the final semesters of students’ education. In this process, students actively work in relevant workplaces throughout the semester, gaining full-time experience in a real working environment.
Students carry out their practical training activities in institutions and organizations that cooperate with the university. In this way, they acquire important competencies such as adapting to professional life, participating in teamwork, developing practical solutions to engineering-related problems, and gaining a sense of professional responsibility.
The practical training process is monitored by the relevant academic units, and students’ attendance and workplace performance are regularly evaluated. Students are expected to comply with workplace rules, work discipline, and occupational health and safety principles.
The evaluation process is carried out by taking into account the work performed by students during the training period, workplace evaluations, and, when necessary, academic assessments.
In order to successfully complete the practical training, students must complete the required duration in full, submit the necessary documents on time, and pass the relevant evaluation processes.
