Founded in 1951, the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is one of the world's most respected and established international organizations in the field of space, with 604 members from space agencies, private sector representatives, associations, unions, universities, museums, and research institutions, covering 82 countries.
The International Astronautical Congress (IAC), organized annually by the IAF, is one of the global space community's most widely attended and prestigious events, bringing together all stakeholders working in space agencies and space technologies and shaping the future of the sector. Throughout the congress, there will be an international exhibition area, high-level protocol sessions, company presentations, academic and technical presentations sharing the latest work on the future of space, and platforms conveying the latest developments in the sector.
The 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026 Antalya) will be held at the Antalya Nest Congress Center between October 5-9, 2026, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), and co-hosted by SAHA Istanbul. Our goal for this important congress, which brings together the global space ecosystem and will be held in our country for the first time, is to turn IAC 2026 Antalya into a success story that will resonate worldwide, bringing together all stakeholders in Turkey's space ecosystem to maximize the scientific, technological, and economic benefits of the event for our country.
